I'm at a point where i need to replace my car soon-ish.
I'm wondering if it's worth even looking into electric vehicles. They are considerably more expensive. The teslas do seem nice. Wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

Definitely buy one if you want everybody to think you're a douchebag.

A coworker has a Tesla Model 3 and it's "okay". The big ass screen in the middle is very distracting, and everything is done through that. So if you want to change your air vents (even the directional pattern), you have to go through pages of settings to do it. In addition, the car didn't feel very "polished", like an experienced brand. I question their longevity, and the ability to fix the car off-dealer locations.

Now the good bits: acceleration is no joke; It is FUN. Self driving feature is incredible, but feels like a beta and feels very scary.

Oh wow that seems unnecessarily tedious.

These are things I wonder too.

I'll probably just be sticking with what I know for now.
