I know it's pretty popular to save bacon grease, but I've never thought about keeping the fat from ground beef

We drain all meat grease into empty dog food cans then dispose of them.

Nah just bacon grease. Half a teaspoon when cooking a steak brings it to a higher level.

I save all of my meat juices so I can dump them into a tub and marinate myself in them once a month.

I don't actually deal with ground beef unless it's already been processed. Microwave taquitos, etc.

Unless you're making homemade soap or candles, beef fat doesn't really have a lot of practical use.
