Yeah I felt bad for Brad. I dunno how he got bodied so hard.

I feel like if anything, that faceoff really demonstrated just how incredible Ken Jennings is. Like, James was awesome and flashy with how absurdly fast he made money, but at the end of the day he only lasted like half as long as Ken.

Like, fuck, he really deserves the title of GOAT.

James almost won the last game (and could have easily won the tournament) but Ken definitely dominated throughout.

I didn't count but I think Ken answered the most questions correctly. Brad definitely got the fewest though. He probably had the most Daily Doubles but got like all of them wrong.

i think brad's problem was that he couldnt keep up with the other guys speed-wise, they were buzzing in while he was still reading the questions. then it seems like he hit a cold streak that never let up in the tournament.

i wonder if he didnt prep as hard as the other two guys, maybe brad thought this was going to just be like a fun little exhibition match or something

Reading the questions? Alex reads them out, and only when he's finished are they allowed to buzz in.

when a contestant selects a question the text pops up on a screen just like it does on TV, i think james & ken have an answer while alex is reading the first few words and start massing the button immediately after alex is done speaking, whereas i got the vibe brad needed to hear the whole question and then think + answer. you could tell the questions that brad won were the ones that the other two guys couldnt get immediately after only reading a couple words

Ken is obviously right that this one tournament is a small sample size, but he got so many esoteric Daily Doubles and Final Jeopardy questions right, AND he had command of the board most of the time which helped him get more Daily Doubles than anyone else, that he definitely deserved to win.

The Tournament questions were much harder than standard Jeopardy questions BTW, you could tell just by watching the standard show then the tournament right after.

They say that for a lot of these questions, these guys don't really know the answer but are able to give a good guess. Like when James got Chad last night, he had no idea. That Final Jeopardy last night could have easily gone the other way and we'd have another episode tonight.

I'd still say that Ken was more impressive throughout the tourney.
