They're as cool as they are delicious

You're literally eating juice..it's unexplainable. Once you bite into it it's all liquid, but somehow it remains solid as you pick it up and manipulate it.. I don't think science can really explain it.

It's also the most satisfying fruit to eat. Seriously if you come into this topic bitching about how annoying they are to get all the seeds out give it to me because I honestly find getting all the seeds out enjoyable. It's not that difficult to do either if you do it right.

The only real problem is how expensive they are. They're like $3 a piece here and that's finding them cheap.

Much cheaper in CA. In fact many people have a tree in their backyard.

They are delicious
They are top-tier in aesthetics when it comes to fruit (seriously, that deep crimson is gorgeous, and when the light shines through the juicy seeds........uphh they look like little rubies)
They are so satisfying to squish in your mouth, and the aryls add some great crunchy texture.

They are annoying to open but it's worth it. I love blending smoothies and then mixing in some unblended pomegranate seeds. It also is a very nostalgic fruit for me because my grandparents had a pomegranate tree and I used to get very excited for pomegranate season.
