Every country is a slave to debt. The world debt is mind boggling. I also don't fear getting shot going to the grocery store. Of course I live in a civilized state where most people don't whine about "muh guns!" People have them, there is also common sense gun laws to make sure you know what the fuck you are doing if you get one. Yes there are shootings in inner city areas near major population hubs, but that is true of any city on earth. The more people there are packed together the more crime there is.

Are many restrictions Americans have that would leave most Brits aghast. The opposite is true as well though.
