DoomTheGyarados 01/24/20 2:52:04 PM #18:	Okay so I have been sick for about a week, and I am diabetic so for those not aware when you are sick your blood sugar tends to go up naturally (body doesn't want you to die from lack of sugar so it is like "I help :D") which contributes to dehydration + sickness dehydrates you. So I was getting some blood work done yesterday and they noticed I was dehydrated so they had me drink some water and they were tapping the back of my hand for blood as I was so dry. Well we finally finish that and I suddenly start to feel super woozy and then everything does dark for me. My fiance tells me what happened was I stiffened and every muscle in my body tensed up. I apparently was squeezing her hand before and then after I squeezed it super hard and lost all of my color in my face and lips. She thought I had stopped breathing. Apparently this is a reaction people can have sometimes when they get their blood drawn. I come around and I am like, super confused and in a lot of pain. Probably from tensing every muscle in my body for a minute. They try to give me water and I am sucking it down in a stupid way which leads to, as my fiance said, "it was like the exorcist" when I vomited nothing but water back up! I am resting back home now, my entire body is in pain but the doctors said I'll be okay. It was just a super wombo combo of factors that led to a super bad reaction. Corrik7 01/24/20 3:00:41 PM #21:	Your body can only absorb like 8 ounces of water at a time (like over 30 minutes or so), so remember that chugging when dehydrated may make sense to your body but it isn't really. Having all that liquid sitting in your stomach waiting to be absorbed can make you throw up. Dehydration sucks. Use an app to stay hydrated.
