He was carrying his newlywed in his arms through the parking lot at Village Faire after a night of dancing and drinking when he left carrying his wife and fell onto a pothole that he didn't see at night. They were out at Coyote Bar and Grill with friends on June 14, 2019 as friends said they were young, in love and newlyweds where a terrible tragedy occurred because of the property not being maintained. John walked through the poorly lit, uneven pothole ridden parking lot while lovingly holding his wife before stepping into the pothole causing him to loose his footing and fall face forward. They were both quickly helped by onlookers but Robyn had hit her head on the ground and died 5 days later in hospital The lawsuit was launched against the owners of Village Faire claiming the owners failed to maintain the lot but locals spoke to NBC News and said the company DID take good care fo the soace and patches of the parking space every summer and there were signs that said to watch out for uneven surfaces and a pothole Have you ever fell into a pothole before?.
