Yeah I will go weeks drinking nothing but water and the occasional beer. But when I have a Mountain Dew, it's still delicious. I just can't chug it down like I used to.

Water has a taste. I love the water I get at work that comes out of this filtration system. It's cold and it's delicious. I use Brita filter tank at home. Water is crisp, cool, and delicious.

Y'all tripping or have shitty water access if you think it tastes bad. Get a filtration system or a filter tank. It's worth the measly amount of money.

I never drank water till my twenties, before that it was all kool-aid. But I needed a more portable drink for work and school and stuff so wow I drink almost nothing except water.

I've encountered people like this. they complain about having headaches a lot and feeling crummy and run down all the time. I just don't fucking get it though...

Like, yeah it doesn't have a taste. It's water. It's not supposed to taste good. It's not supposed to be a treat. You put it in your body the same reason you put fucking oxygen into your body.

I have a PUR filter on my sink faucet and the only thing I ever drink is water ever. I love the shit. When I'm feeling thirsty the only thing I think of is having a nice big gulp of my ice water.

Occasionally I'll have a Sparkling Ice or something for a little flavor but for the most part I just drink water. It's great and don't get people who absolutely hate it.

you can get water consumption from more than just water. Fruit contain so much water for example. That tells me they aren't eating anything to give them hydration, and are only eating junk.

While I totally understand the distaste for water in a general sense, I've found that when I really do get THAT thirsty, water (assuming it's like, pure, and not terrible quality water) suddenly becomes an awesome drink. It still doesn't become a tasty drink, but it's somehow way more satisfying than it would be to drink at any other time.

It's sort of like how the idea of going to bed doesn't appeal to me in the slightest until I'm actually really tired, then suddenly it's the greatest feeling in the world.

I don't get how people can hate water. It doesn't have any flavor, so it can't taste bad.

That's just it though. Tasting like nothing IS a bad taste to some people.

I really hate ice cold water for some reason. It has to be room temperature and even then I dont love it.
