Most people I know agree that foreign money is comically colorful and superfluous. Guess it just comes down to what you're used to seeing.

Also those mock-ups look like tickets or something lol

If you think Monopoly money means gorgeous artwork, intricate designs and stunning colour and NOT cheap paper crap you need to rethink your priorities

Please compare and contrast the ways colourful money is superfluous when you can tel the exact denomination of a bill based observing a fraction of its surface. I want a written essay on my desk my Monday.

Theres millions of people. And I mean MILLIONS of people who handle money in a day just in America and the only sorting money machine they have is their hands and eyes.

There really is no argument for having only one colour denominations

We get along just fine with our trusty eyeballs, and anyone handling more money than eyes can distinguish is going to use a machine.

And the argument is the same one I've been saying, nobody cares enough to change it. Opposite even, most people would probably be against the change. Every time we've gotten new bills I hear the same thing: "why are they adding all this stupid shit to our money."

Polymer bank notes are significantly more difficult to counterfeit. The year after Canada fully integrated them the use of counterfeit bills absolutely fell off a cliff.

Polymer currency embedded with tiny copper ribbons would be even better at that, and probably an ordeal to counterfeit.

I have used both currencies when traveling. The largest fail of other currencies are the reliance on coins. I breaking any bills and getting 2 euro coins back. So annoying.

If anything that's actually an argument for changing it.

The less used people get to holding or seeing physical money the easier it is pass off counterfeit money as real.
