That doesnt look accurate at all. Its more:

I believe you deserve the freedom to live your life by the choices you make, and I deserve the freedom to do the same.

People take the most disingenuous possible interpretation of this pairing and assume it means "I believe poor people need help but don't want to set aside money to help them." It assumes there's no middleground between "no support" and "unlimited support" and ignores the reality of having limited resources to work with. In short, they're either trolling you or stupid.

Don't try to tax me too much and let me do what I want if I'm not harming others, but also don't discriminate against minorities, actually fund social programs and infrastructural improvements for the betterment of society at large, and fucking let black people vote without putting up barriers left and right.

Yeah, sure is a dumb core set of values to have.

Worth noting that this group is over represented online as compared to the US electorate
https://www.voterstudygroup.org/publication/political-divisions-in-2016-and-beyond
To summarize, supporters of Clinton and Trump are very polarized on identity and moral issues. Views on economic issues are more of a mix. Both candidates supporters are generally supportive of the social safety net, and somewhat concerned about trade. Yet they diverge very much on how concerned they are about inequality, and how actively they want to see government regulate business and intervene in the economy.

The 12 dimensions provide nuance, but for simplicitys sake, it is easier to combine these indexes into the two main dimensions that organize public opinion: questions of economics and questions of culture/social/national identity.

To do this, I created two new indexes:

An economic liberalism-conservatism index (which combines views on the social safety net, trade, inequality, and active government)
A social/identity liberalism-conservatism politics index (which combines the moral issues index plus views toward African-Americans, immigrants, and Muslims).
This allows us to plot all respondents on a single scatterplot, shown here.

Most Clinton supporters cluster in the lower-left corner: liberal on both economic and identity issues. Trump supporters cluster in the upper-middle: conservative on identity issues, and somewhat conservative on economic issues. Trump general election voters, however, are more widely dispersed on economic issues, ranging more broadly from liberal to conservative.

To simplify further, we can break the electorate into four types, based on their position in the four quadrants of Figure 2:

Liberal (44.6 percent): Lower left, liberal on both economic and identity issues
Populist (28.9 percent): Upper left, liberal on economic issues, conservative on identity issues
Conservative (22.7 percent): Upper right, conservative on both economic and identity issues
Libertarian (3.8 percent): Lower right, conservative on economics, liberal on identity issues

Obviously it's impossible to say whether this is a product of there not being a lot of candidates who would appeal to this subset, but...

I fall into that category.

I support social liberal movements, but we need to be conservative with our money. We can do things for the good of the people of the nation, but we do not need to throw money away needlessly.

One example I can think of is if a city paid someone $50k to do a study on how to raise $100k.

We have a homeless shelter in my community in an old city building that is not being used... yet the city is saying that it costs $40k to run for 3 months.... it does not. Most of the staff are volunteers and the shelter runs on donations. The 'cost' of the actual shelter is probably no more than $5000 during this period - they are using 'rent' as an expense on a building they own that they are not using. THAT is being fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
