It wouldn't change anything. The document would still not be deposited with her, especially since they know she's going to destroy it. Even if it being original did change the matter, it wouldn't count because she didn't willingly destroy the original copy.

I don't see you point here, Congress can't charge people with crimes, that the Justice departments role, which answers to the President.

she did willingly destroy the original, if that's what he was holding. you didn't not commit a crime because you weren't aware that you did it.

She didn't willingly destroy the original, if she was unaware that it is the original. That's part of what makes it willingly. Though certainly most crimes don't require your knowledge, certain crimes do.

She needs to go to jail. Her way protest was disgusting and disrespectful to America, there are better ways of protesting that aren't so distasteful and don't break the law.

Nancy Pelosi ripping up a piece of paper is a worse crime than Trump withholding military aid from a country until they investigate his political opponent.

Just Republican things.

I can't tell if this is satire or not, but I have been enjoying watching Trump supporters suddenly act like they give a shit about decorum

Which, per your hypothetical, they can't. And that's not even going into the chicanery/entrapment aspect of your hypothetical. So, again, just stop.

you are correct. And as the impeachment trial proved, if you don't have enough evidence, the person will go free.
