Hes usually portrayed as the typical "great, upstanding guy who cant do wrong", but there are other versions of him that delve into a darker side. I guess ill have to go with Nolans portrayal of him. The whole "Why do we fall" line kinda always stuck with me.

Flashpoint batdad. He's Punisher Batman without the convolution inherent in the amalgam universe that put Punisher Batman on the page. All while being more fleshed out and consistently showcased in arcs well after his debut. Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman was just a big player in a very recent run

Well, in the Telltale game version of Thomas, its revealed that he and Falcone ran Gotham, using Wayne Enterprises as a front and that they were using Arkham Asylum to put people away so they could buy their land.
