For me, it's probably my Wishbone book collection. Seriously, I think I have around roughly 60-70% of the books (literally have 1 Tales of a Pup, all the Classics, 2 of the Early Years, the only Mysteries 2.0, 19 of the Mysteries 1.0, all of the Super Mysteries, 18 of the Adventures and 4 of the Super Adventures). Honestly I think that's either very impressive or very insane. If anyone asks, I could post a list of the titles I have. Still have an FB post that I need to edit so I know which titles are missing.

And now, you people can tell me your most insane collection.

I downsized the stuff i own a long time ago, so I don't have anything insane anymore, but I had every single animorphs book. I think I also had every single goosebumps book from the original run, plus some of the CYOA books. Probably 120 books just between those two series.

My Doctor Who DVDs. In a rack that is supposed to hold 228 DVDs across twelve shelves, my collection encompasses eight and a third of those shelves.

Like, my next two biggest collections--Stargate and the DCAU--combined don't even make up a third of that.

Just my games. While it includes magazines, plushies, Amiibo, posters, and the like they aren't large enough on their own to be separate collections.

35+ platforms, many hundreds of games.

Well, in terms of pure quantity it is sports cards. Also the dumbest collection I have, for a variety of reasons. There was a 1-2 year period I considered myself addicted to sports cards. I didnt blow all my cash on it, but a chunk, and I didnt get much in return because I was doing strictly retail packs. If I'd have spent more money on hobby packs, at least i'd have more hits(autographs, jerseys, etc) to show off, because hobby packs either gaurantee a hit or have much better odds. Retail doesnt gaurantee shit, and the odds for an actual hit are very slim, but at least for Topps, stated on the pack. So i've got thousands of mostly cull cards spread out between baseball(most common), football, soccer and some others. Outside of dumping all the common(and removing local team common players for my personal collection) cards onto a good will or something I don't know what to do with them. Burning/throwing them out would be wasteful, trying to sell common cards individually(lol) or even in bundles would be a hard sell. Money i've wasted and outside of the handful of cash I could get for selling some things(such as a derek Jeter bat sliver in a card worth maybe 15-20 max) itll never be seen again.

For stuff I'm actually proud of and don't feel like I just throw my money away:

vinyl records. I forget the count but probably over 200 records of various sizes. Mostly punk and related subgenres. This isn't an insane amount of records though.

Up next, probably the thing I am happiest about is my currency and silver coin and bullion collection. I havent tabulated my coins that well, but as far as bills, the last count shows me having 1044 individual US Federal Reserve Notes for a face value of $2,941. However with the stack I have here I have not added to my spreadsheet I am over 1,100 bills and $3,000. I have bills with fancy serial numbers, star notes, older currency and all kinds of things. In the near future I plan on taking a lot of the cull dollar bills(series 1985; 1988a-2003a saving any really nice examples, star notes, and barring the presence of those two, just one of each series) and using that to help pay the last bit of my student loans, so I can then use the $200 a month i'll now have to maybe move out of my moms house, or other investments. Every single thing here was a face value purchase, so i havent lost any money.

As far as silver bullion is concerned I have 100.2 ounces troy split between silver coins(half dollars, quarters, nickels, dimes, dollars, and one canadian dime), and bullion(one gram all the way up to one kilogram).
current silver spot price: 17.61
total ozt: 100.2
value: 1,764.52
what I paid: 1,310.11
net: + $454.11

Everything is moderate that I own except to the people who don't own any of what I have.

For instance, I have a few dozen Saturn games, 60+ books in general and I almost always have an 8th of flower on me up to a half ounce.

To my girlfriend, she finds some of that stuff excessive but knows it is all part of my passions.
Only recently have I started to lack space for my books and games, but we also have a small place.
The best thing about a second hand book collection is the value is personally enormous. A lot of my books I got in a bundle, making them worth like 25 cents but they give me hours of a good time

idk, a lot of my collections border on insane. I have thousands of books, at least a thousand DVDs, probably over a thousand games, etc. I still have a lot of cards from various CCGs although, by CCG standards, it's probably nothing impressive.

Oh, and thanks to clearances on stuff like Skylanders, I have lot of those as well.

Probably my DVD/Blu-Ray collection. Easily in the hundreds, pushing close to a thousand when you figure in boxed sets of TV series.

Same here, it was at least 700 last time I counted. Also have 6 longboxes full of trade paperbacks/graphic novels, three big Rubbermaid bins full of books, another 5-shelf bookcase full of same, and a probably a hundred or more action figures/toys. Granted, this is all 20+ years of collecting, and it's a lot less than some comic/toy people I know.
