I disagree on the skill system, though. When your characters already learn basic magic through leveling up, its neat that some skills enemies use can be learned by any character and moved amongst your team as you see fit.

I recall liking BoF4's skill and master system more than BoF3's.

4 is the same in concept, but just incrementally better. Guarding to learn from any enemy is better than examining a single one. Aurum isn't quite as rare as Skill Ink. Masters teaching skill based on achievements instead of levels is kinda fun.

But if you don't like the concept, the improvements probably won't sell you on it.

The only bad part of BoF3 was crossing the desert. I got lost the first time and it took ages.

This is odd, but I actually enjoyed the desert. I love using the stars to navigate my way forward.

I also enjoyed the desert. It was quite unique and felt like a real serious intense time.

Also the enemies gave crazy high xp if I remember right.

I just purchased the Breath of Fire III soundtrack on Amazon. Easily my favorite video game soundtrack.

I always liked keeping Momo, helps offload some of the healing so Ryu doesn't have to do it all the time.

Not leveling up Peco right now. Since it is easy to do like 10 levels, getting all of Fahl's abilities on Peco right after this arc is done is a smart idea.

I think it is a while lot better, but you can farm skill inks in 3 super easy next to McNiel village for only 1 trout and 1 rainbowtrout each

I was gonna play more today but work was busy.

Got paid to watch the Sonic movie. It was pretty good.

Yeah, probably one of my favorite parts of the game. I remember getting there, that music started playing, I sat there like "ok, something is about to go down!"

Then the aftermath of the fight I was like "Did...did I do something wrong!?"
