So this guy has done some great things and helped KKK members renounce their beliefs, but may have exaggerated his impact. I'm okay with that. Exaggerating your good deeds doesn't make you a bad person.

I have been and that was never stated. If you can quote the post in which that was explicitly stated I will admit that I am wrong.

200 less kkk is a good thing, and it takes an incredible person to want to do that.

but it should not be up to black people to fix all the racist people. if anybody looks to this example like "see?", you can fuck off.

He has been getting in trouble a lot lately. He tends to get really mad and puts words in other people's mouths and also says offensive stuff.

This is some weird ass trolling dude.

That?s always been his entire style of arguing, and all he does is argue. Sometimes he just chooses topics where lying his ass off involves saying fucked up stuff about other people.

Oh I know. He's posted about that wade guy before (who does the same thing as this guy). He did not at the time say what wade actually did. He just posted some half hour long video and said "watch it." Since he said the wade guy was a reverend, I said "no. I don't watch religious people videos or half hour long videos." He called me terrible insulting names like "scared," "afraid," "terrified," "frightened" etc. I asked him just for a 1 sentence summary of the dude. He refused and again demanded I watch the video. Again, I didn't. He did more of the same name calling and ranted about "world view" or some similar meme buzz term. This went back and forth for a while. Eventually, he accidentally let it slip that the wade guy was known for talking to kkk people and convincing them to change. I said that's good and I agreed with the tactic and saw documentaries about other people who successfully did that too. He disappeared and refused to respond to my agreement and positive acknowledgement even when I @ ed him multiple times.

It is disturbing to think that people like UnfairRepresent exist...

I'm not trolling, I have been reading the entire topic and I never saw anyone say that Nazis should be allowed to do whatever they want or else you're as bad as Nazi Germany if you stop them. I am willing to accept that I am wrong but I would need to see that post first.

While I'm impressed by this guys willingness to engage these people and his ability to turn them from their path, I take issue with people's sentiment that this is how the KKK/Neo-Nazis should be engaged. The responsibility is not on me to show people the error of their ways, or convince them that certain groups of people shouldn't be mass murdered. The onus is on them to not be a shit human being. My responsibility is to make sure that they can't hurt the people they aim to.

Those kinds of people are insane. And while its super noble and amazing to individually remove people from the KKK, it does not efficiently destroy racism and white supremacy.
Why not? I think it could be very efficient if we all followed Davis's example

Because "racism" never started with the people in the first place. People got sucked into it by falling into the divisive trap by higher powers. "Race" relations have had many stages in America and Western society period, but higher power agenda's have always been a common denominator.

They feed on the most insecure people's fears and desires, but it's not up to the victims of racism to take on the burden of changing these people's mind. They're job is to enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Yes, but if everyone, regardless of skin colour, followed this example then you would have everyone that isnt racist talking to racists helping them see the error of their ways. This would lead to the "higher powers," being unable to use racism to manipulate the populace.

Let them start with their own friends and families, then. This way they know how to interact with human beings who aren't like them.

So how do you feel about Obamas beer summit? Should Obama have punched Crowley instead of sharing a beer with him?
