Calling something a Fallout ripoff kind of ignores that Fallout started as a spoof/expansion of the post-apocalypse genre, itself. Apocalyptic themes have pervaded Western Culture for more than a thousand years, Fallout is just remembered because Obsidian makes good writing and fun games combo smoothies like few else, ever.
