They have had well over a year to clean up their culture and they are still fucking up. They should just shut this company down, but its one of those "too big to fail" things https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO7_indbfME --- "We would have no NBA possibly if they got rid of all the flopping." ~ Dwyane Wade https://imgur.com/MYYEIx5 https://imgur.com/WGE12ef ... I find it incredibly disturbing that they were in such a hurry to get these planes back in the sky, above all else, as if that's all they gave a damn about. This is no surprise at all.

I for one will go out of my way to make absolutely sure my flight isn't on one of these death traps. I will ask the airline and rebook if need-be.

Gotta wonder if the risk assessments they conduct on their projects include "how many planes can we afford to go down".

Gotta wonder if the risk assessments they conduct on their projects include "how many planes can we afford to go down". I can almost guarantee they do, if only because V&V of large systems is often more about probability than absolute guarantee. So they have to hit some minimum threshold of testing success, but it'll never be 100%. The question then becomes how close can they get, and is 97% as acceptable as 99% if the cost to get from one to the other is half the program cost. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
