xbox one is probably the best controller i've used. ps4 is ok but for games like shooters i don't find them very good for extended play, i used to get really sore thumbs after a while when i played a lot of destiny

mine finally started drifting on the left joystick

I recalibrated it in the settings which fixed it for the time being but I imagine Ill have to get a replacement eventually

All drift issues are fixed* for free by Nintendo.

*Nintendo basically just takes yours, then sends you a different set.

The real joke is acting like there is a significant difference between the Xbox one and PS4 controllers. Theyre both great.

And yeah now I have to disagree. Pressing up with my thumb on Xbox versus left on PSAnything is way more accurate. The D-pad/left stick positioning is way better on Xbox. PS4 also has the goofy near-useless pad in the middle which is unnecessarily big and forces the controller to be wider than it has to be.

I have to say that I really enjoy my XB1 controller over my PS3 and 360 controllers.
My 360 controller is over a decade old. Hell my PS2 controller (Which I could technically use on PC as I have an adapter) is nearing two decades old and worked fine a couple of years ago.

The only system I ever had break on me was the DS Lite, which had a snapped hinge. If Nintendo went the switch way of making handhelds sooner, wouldn't have been an issue. The DS and 3DS were mistakes.

I wouldn't say they're great (and I would totally understand anyone with bigger hands saying they hated them) but they're still perfectly functional, unlike quite a few other controllers out there. (ie: the N64, or the original xbox controller with the slanted buttons)

I hate the GC controllers too, they're uncomfortable. I only played with one for like 3 games of Melee, so i don't have that much experience with them. The way the ABXY and Start buttons are placed just throws me off, i'm fine with the rest. As for Joy-Cons, i'm used to them, so i don't really mind them.

I literally have ONE hand and never had a single issues using the N64 controller, maybe y'all just have terrible coordination or something.

XBOX and PS4 are better for my five year old who doesn't know all her letters by sight just yet. R/B/Y/G and/or shapes FTW.

Funny because the nintendo system is supposed to be more for kids

No, actually, it's more of the way the controller is built. I'm more used to the shape of the Switch and Wii U Pro Controllers, as well the Wii U gamepad, and my 3DS XL, so i don't really know how to put my hands on the GC controllers (The GC controller has a slightly different shape than the Wii U and Switch Pro Controllers), hence why they're uncomfortable for me.
