Do these platforms have some kind of vetting process so every single user is confirmed? If so, then kinda weird. If not, then not much they can do because implementing a process to verify every user would likely be ultra costly.

Everyone knows the best way to deal with sex offenders is to completely ban them from all dating platforms until they're so sexual frustrated they... wait nevermind.

Remember that time users off 4Chan (I think) made a sex offender profile on Tinder and used "Chad" pictures, then proceeded to message hot girls? They would straight up be like "Yeah, I just got out of jail for raping a little boy." And the girls were like "I don't want to hear about that anymore, just come over here and do me lol."

The worst one was a chick who tried to be relateable by saying something like "Oh yeah? Well I once stole a chocolate bar when I was a kid. Guess we're both felons huh? Hahaha!"

No it's just sex offenders people have a problem with. Because these days everyone thinks being a sex offender means you kidnap and brutally rape little children. Nevermind the fact that they put you on the list for the absolute stupidest shit these days. Then there's also the fact that it's probably just outright unconstitutional in the first place since most people on it already served their time. Oh, and the fact that it doesn't fucking work in the first place. A study done of sex offenders, like not the piss in public people but people that actually molested a child, found that those on the list actually had a higher repeat offense rate then those who didn't register. Thus defeating the whole fucking point of the god damn thing in the first place.

Add this to the fact that people always piss and moan about sex offenders, yet no seems to give a shit about murderers? I mean that guy down the street took a piss behind a tree ten years ago and got caught! SHAME!!! But Bob there my neighbor? Yeah nice guy, did you know he killed three people with his bare hands? Well off to his house since he said he wants to show me something in his basement. And what about car thieves? Maybe when your car ends up in a chop shop people might actually give a damn.

as a sex offender, i've served my time already for the (minor) crime I committed. Petty thieves dont get social ostracized like this. Why do petty sex offenders get the same treatment as rapists?
