I checked all the measurements and this tv would fit just fine but it says its only good for TVs up to 60 inches?

the 65 inch is $150 cheaper so ugh.. I mean if all else fails I guess I could mount it?

As long as the base fits and it does not exceed the weight limit of 95 pounds you should be fine.

Does you tv have 4 little feet on the corners or a center base? Cause as long as the base fits on the top theres no issue. You could have a shelf half that size.

4 feet same as my current Samsung. Tv feet are the same width too.

I already have that one and it was like $180 when we got it or less Im not quite sure.

Oh if you already have the stand, measure the distance from where it tapers on each end. As long as it's more than the distance between the tv feet you're good

Yeah there's nothing wrong with overhang if your TV is in a place where there's no chance you bump into it from the side.

I'm still using the TV stand I used with my old 46" HDTV with the 55" one I have now (with slight overhang) because they're almost the same size with how much they've reduced bezel size >_>

Ok well if that top board is 60, those feet look like theyre about 6 in from the edges, you should be fine. Also a 65 tv is measured diagonally across the screen so the width of the edge of the tv body will be less than 65.

I have a 55 inch TV on a 42 inch stand. It can work depending on where the legs of the tv are.
