Afghanistan was invaded because Bin Laden was hiding there at the time and there was a desire for retribution. Iraq was invaded to make Saudi and Israel happy. Iran may be invaded to make Saudi and Israel happy.

i'm old enough to remember those wars. no, iran had nothing to do with them. people at the time thought bush was redoing his father's war. afghanistan was because osama bin laden was thought to be hiding there and u.s. intelligence already knew osama bin laden was behind the 9/11 attacks.

iraq was without basis from the start. it was based on a claim of yellowcake development in iraq (used in nuclear production) which turned out to be false due to no proof turning up ever. of course there is also bush's sheer bloodthirst that drove these wars.

be cautious if you read wikipedia because they use the very noticeable wording that bush "blamed" the attack on osama bin laden (as if osama bin laden was innocent but was blamed anyway). if you try to edit the page i bet it will just be reversed. that's how shitty wikipedia is.

john mccain said and acted like he was prepared to go to war with iran, but he's also dead.
