Technically 0 as I never owned it and since the PS5 is coming out this year and is 100% BC I won't ever buy a PS4 either.

I gave it a 9. Great system with a fantastic library.

My only complaint was no backwards compatibility and that it couldn't play CDs.

I like that the controller feels more durable than the PS3 controller. Sometimes I'd worry that I might accidentally twist the DS3 in half.

I've only used it for VR and Spider-Man but those two things have been pretty fucking great so 7

The controller sucks, load times and framerates are awful, charging money to play online is highway robbery, games crash and freeze a lot

But I'm thankful it was awful enough to get Gust and Nihon Falcom to stop developing exclusively for Sony platforms

i had some really, really fun times playing blacklight retribution and america's army proving grounds on ps4.

I give it a 7. The prices for the PSN+ is a bit too high. And I don't like all the monitoring and control that Sony has on the console to prevent hacking and piracy. But the PS4 has a really good library of games.

The first 2-3 years were glorious and truly felt next-gen, but aside from the exclusives the Xbox has done a damn good job at being the better experience between the One X, Game Pass and improved UI.

The controller is pretty flimsy and I had a console just outright die on me like it was an Xbox 360. I don't have particularly high standards, but my controller and console being unusable within a year of buying them soured me on an otherwise good console.

That was overshadowed by the blatant advantage it had in power and reception going into the 8th gen; Xbox was too busy shooting itself in the foot for the competition to force games out sooner

8/10. Slow first couple of years, bad controller battery life, PlayStation Now isn't quite up to the standards set by the competition and the lack of any sort of BC is a major downside.

But if you had a PS4 you were set for this entire generation basically. It's a solid console, it got basically all of the third party games and it has a killer line-up of exclusives. PSVR is an awesome accessory as well with some surprisingly solid games. The base console held up remarkably well compared to the PS3 as well and most games still look pretty great.
