It's far more action oriented than any other RE game. I really love the gameplay mechanics. You have so much control over your character's movement. It's great.

It'd be great if the controls were less contextual. Whole game handles like you're drunk.

I don't think I agree?

Certain actions are context sensitive, but it never seems random to me. If you do the special melee on an enemy when it's near a wall or desk or something like that, you'll smash in their skull. Or grab their weapon and use it against them.

I was more referring to the things you can do like sprinting, rolling forward, jumping onto your back and scooting, flying jump kicks, rolling from side to side, dodging, countering, ducking. Idk any game like it.

Eh, different strokes. That was my impression when I played it, even more so in Mercenaries.

I will agree that you have to be very precise with your positioning and timing. It's easy to whiff attacks if you're not oriented correctly.

I liked RE4 and RE5 but will never play 6 again.i played through it just to get through the campaigns but just wanted them to be done before too long.

It is very action heavy, which wasnt an issue and I didnt care how far removed it was from what RE is "supposed" to be, it just wasnt that fun.
