When they were trying to pull the gauntlet from Thanos on Titan, and Quill hesitated. Had he not hesitated, would they have pulled the gauntlet and won?

I thought he stated he saw over 14 million possible scenarios and only one was victory? That doesn't mean one scenario with them pulling the gauntlet off wouldn't have been successful. He just hadn't seen it.

Thanos would have killed everybody there to get the glove back. They had to lose in a way they could strike back.

Thanos without even a single stone is no fucking joke.

Realistically, yes. Thanos still would have been asleep, and Strange could have hidden them all like he did with the time stone. Then just stall until Thor gets there. The whole 1/15 million odds only makes sense in wonky comic logic.

Nah, I dont think so. People assume Quill was the deciding factor, but theres no guarantee that he would have been able to help pull the gauntlet off or that they could have held on to it, even if it came off. Quill is just an easy target for blame because he is a dim, loudmouthed hothead.

Yeah, it's not at all guaranteed that they would have been able to get the glove off and safely away before he regained control. Mantis was already struggling and telling them she was about to lose control. All that it would have taken was Thanos regaining control for literally one second. He was strong enough to beat The Hulk down in moments like he was nothing without needing to use the stones.

Unfortunately the Russo brothers said that the movie might have ended right there if Quill didn't fuck up. I know it's a "might" but... Idk.

It took the power of the stones to stop Strange, so it's doubtful he'd have been able to do much of anything to get the stones back so long as he was the one to take the gauntlet. Mantis is probably dead though.

And in the body I made the question of "Would the Avengers have beaten Thanos if Antman went into his butt and grew into giant man?"

The question I am asking in this case, is its own question, not indicative of what the actual real outcome of the movie is.

I wonder what would have happened had they taken the gauntlet off of him. I assume that Doctor Strange would have teleported him somewhere or something, since it's not like anyone would exactly be capable of using it without getting fucked up.
