43 y/o Joel Werner, an american living in Hong Kong was recorded in a SHOCKING video that showed him removing his mask before LICKING his FINGER and then WIPING it on the HANDRAIL that has sparked outrage there!!

The viral video showed him removing his surgical mask before bringing his hand to his mouth and licking it on the MTR train and rubbed his fingers all over the red pole

He was revealed to be a hedge fund manager and has apologized to the public but claimed he did it as a JOKE and insisted he pretended to stick his finger into his mouth

He said he shared the "parody video" among a handful of friends before it got posted on social media and was then exposed as the dirty man

He made a facebook post apologizing for his actions and said "I made sure to use hand sanitizer both before and after i touched the pole and also wiped the pole with hand sanitizer to ensure the safety of other passengers. Please be assured that it was not my intention to cause concern or harm to any member of the public"

Joel claims he wanted to show how easy it was to spread FAKE NEWS amid the pandemic after another video that was purported to show an American Soldier spreading the virus on the metro in Wuhan but was later found out to be filmed in Belgium

Joel said there were videos making americans LOOK BAD and wanted to make a video of his own to show how easy the public falls for these

He personally shared it on a private Whatsapp group before it was forwarded by one of his fans and then attracted thousands

Now he says "i'm terrified. it's been spread all over. I manage other people's money. How embarrassing is this?. I feel like a victim of a crime.It's very upsetting. I am not a criminal nor do i deserve ot be treated as such".

But commentators blasted him stating his pranks should be punished and is offensive
