I got an $800 bill for an MRI I had done once (without insurance it would have cost $7,000+).

The kicker is that they sent me the bill 2 years after I had it done. Never did pay it, and haven't heard back from them since.

It always confuses the fuck out of me when they send the bill over a year after the procedure/visit/whatever. Like I thought I was all done paying off that shit, and all of a sudden there's several hundred dollars just gone

when i had a seizure a few years ago they couldn't rule out why i had one in the first place.
even did a cat scan found no issues with my brain.

i was severely dehydrated at the time during the summer which had something to do with it probably.
still owe 1.5k for the ambulance ride.

When I had surgery last April they called me before and said I could pay up front at a discount with what they thought it might be lol it ended up being about $500 less than that.

So you likely have a bill from the hospital and a bill from radiologist that read it.
Like when I got a colonoscopy I got a bill from the hospital, a bill from the doctor that performed it, a bill from the anesthesiologist, and bill from the lab that they sent the biopsies to. Then another bill after they sent the biopsies off to another lab for further examination (to determine the kind of cancer)

Back when I didn't have insurance I did this for a colonoscopy. I paid a little here and a little there. They just kept sending me a new bill until it was paid off. The insurance I have now is really damn good so I wouldn't know.

My mother had swollen feet after an operation and her regular doctor told her to go to an ER. They looked at her for like maybe 30 minutes (did an ultrasound and some lab work), told her she was probably fine and just to drink lots of water. ER bill was almost 4k.
