You cant. If you quit you cannot get unemployment. If you get fired for cause you cant get unemployment. There is nothing an employee can affirmatively do to get unemployment.

600 is more than I make in a week. I make about 1100 biweekly before taxes and other deductions. Take home pay is closer to 365 a week.

I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack every time I step into work lately and I'm being mandated 12 hr shifts. If I could just collect unemployment right now I would. I'd love to be able to stay home right now. I live in ny and I live in the part of town in my county with the most confirmed cases as of yesterday. But as an essential employee that's grossly underpaid this whole thing is starting to eat away at me.

I don't think you can get unemployment if you quit. I expressed concerns about my employer not being able to afford payroll soon. I was told absolutely do not quit if they miss a paycheck. File for constructive dismissal instead.

Id rather people who are able to work and have the option to work go out and work. This country can not survive not working any longer.

Im pretty sure unemployment is based off of how much you were making at your job before you lost it. So I doubt a lot of people will be collecting that much
