It was over the top stupid, to many bullet sponges, the story was bad even by RE standards, and the gameplay was done terribly.

They had better controls and gameplay in RE 4 and 5, why they added so many QTEs, fucked with the controls, and tried to be a shitty wannabe "micheal bay" game I will never know.

RE 6 also nearly killed the franchise until RE 7 saved it and the series got it's act together and gave us RE2make, and RE3make which are all better games then the failure that is RE 6.

It wasn't balanced out. Had way too many action sequences one right after the other, and then it abruptly ends. They should have broken it up with more slow breathers. Plus all the qte didn't help, was just super asinine after a point.

I did enjoy the early parts of the game where it felt like an interactive typical zombie movie. You know, car accidents and panic and what not.

Too many different campaigns with characters I hated. I only like Jill, Leon, and Ada. I hate all other RE characters. It was optimized for Co-Op when I only play single player. Me and my dumb AI partner had to battle the same amount of enemies as 2 human players.

If you are going to implement Co-Op that way, you should decrease the difficulty and amount of enemies that single players face. I don't like useless AI partners.

It got way too over the top for what was supposed to be a survival horror franchise.

That said I found it more fun than RE5.

Overuse of QTEs

Having the character's paths cross meant having to redo the same parts over again

Awful story

Drops horror in favor of ridiculous action scenes

Boss fights drag on for far long to long.
