I've been watching Kingdom and playing total war games and seeing all dese badass battles with hundreds of troops I am left wondering...how are battles nowadays?

it is like a few soldiers vs other few soldiers? just plane fights? drones? what would da battle tactics be in WWIII???

I think the last war where we had large armies clashing was the Korean War

It was only 6 years after WWII so not much had changed in terms of technology and tactics

Um, think again. The Iran-Iraq War cost roughly a million lives in terms of military casualties. Over 160,000 Iranian and Iraqi troops were engaged during the ten-day Operation Badr (March 10-20, 1985), and nearly a quarter of a million troops fought during the height of the First Battle of Fawr, February 10-March 10, 1986.
