It's just like the flu. Morgues being overrun, freezer trucks being rented, people waiting 60 hours to get a bed, people dying before a doctor can even see them, nurses wearing garbage bags, crowds standing outside of a hospital like its fucking woodstock. This is all like the flu.

The flu doesnt attack the lungs like this does. Is it just that the lungs are a more vulnerable part of the body?

Mother fuckers laughing and cringing at those who thought they needed masks and now we are literally in quarantines and isolation. LIterally people are wearing masks around and its being seen as somewhat of a luxury to even have one

People saying it was just panic and hysteria fuelled by racism when literally everyone was just being concerned seeing how rapid it was spreading and how we couldnt really rely on the info china was giving us which we all knew were nearly all lies. because, well, its china. now nearly all countries are shutting down borders, who trump got vilified for when he shut down travel from china which was objectively the main source of the virus at the time.

Literally that sort of misinformation posted by these same snarky types who felt they were more smarter than people taking it seriously caused all this. acting like this whole thing was just a racism maga ploy. These same people are now blaming trump for not taking it seriously at first when they were exactly the same.

Then you got people who lost karma on this very site for being "racist and paranoid " for no reason for saying that they were being a bit more cautious of people who might be in contact with COVID-19 positive people. When it was only logical to believe that during the time this was all happening that it meant family time for a lot of people (Chinese New Year), who could have easily and most likely have family coming in and out of the country.

Then you had other people promoting unneeded touching italy just for their own vain purposes to get youtube views and going viral. Basically to show boat just how not racist they are When this sort of behavior could not only have infected the person being hugged (and used as a prop in the video btw) but could have lead to him infecting others who went to give him a hug
