I really need to get back to Rabbids. I'm getting further in Rayman Legends though. I'm about to wrap up Fiesta de los Muertos. I have been going back to finish the few levels I don't grab everything my first time through as well as the invasion levels, but I'm think I will just play each level once until I beat it and then go back and replay the levels. I probably won't touch the Origins levels unless I somehow need the Teensies.

I did end up getting a gold trophy on a weekly challenge, so I have exceeded my best performance when I played it on PS3 in 2013 or 2014.

Rayman Legends finished

I guess I'm weird since I don't particularly care for the rayman reboots very much in terms of gameplay. tbh, I nominated it to get me motivated enough to try to finish it since I've been doing the daily challenges almost every day for almost 2 years yet not felt like doing the main story levels. Yes, I enjoy the horrible soul killing trophy grinding more than the main game. A freak, I know. >_>

I really wish I could have gotten a Wii U but it's kind of difficult right now lol... I bought like ten games for it a while back when a local video store was going under at like 3 bucks a piece... and was going to get one but then this all happened. Got an xbox 360 and 11 games online for like, 200 bucks total instead of spending twice that just for a wii u ;_;

eh, the thing that kind of bugs me about the new rayman games I guess is collecting all the teenies and cups and junk. Like I don't really feel like there's a good "flow" to most of the levels that let you build up some momentum and feel like you're blazing through levels and improving skill wise because you have to stop every 30 seconds to find one or a bonus room behind some random bit of foreground (I hated that about DKCR too, what with all the bajillion puzzle pieces in each level and dandelions and crap and people complain about rare games being "collectathons" but stuff like that or rayman are just so much worse than they are about it argh). and I just don't really have much enthusiasm for going back to old levels for one or two teensies or because I didn't get enough lums.

now, I ended up enjoying playing the daily challenges more because they had more "flow" to them and I felt more of a sense of accomplishment from getting further in levels/less time and getting slowly better at playing the game from them. Though, deciding to make the trophy ranks percentage based on the number of players was a terrible idea, as was the last rank requiring such a high number of points from daily challenge trophies even if you got all the ones from story levels (also the diamond trophy trophy you would need for the platinum but I managed to get that one despite the top rankings being monopolized by untouchable players thank you glitches).

KCF has beaten Rayman Legends

I didn't have much of a history with the older Rayman titles (maybe just Hoodlum Havoc), but I loved Origins/Legends. I had been itching to replay them, but when I say Legends was $5 on XBL a few months back, that was the sign (let's ignore that I didn't actually begin until April). There aren't many other designers out there with a trio of more impressive games than Michel Ancel and Rayman Legends/Origins and Beyond Good & Evil.

I have absolutely no intention of trying to unlock all the characters or gain the highest level of awesome, but I am going to get all the Teensies and do the post-game music world

I think you are overblowing the need to collect things in Legends at the very least. I forget about Origins requirements. I think that in order to beat the game, you need to collect 290 Teensies. Lums and Trophies aren't needed at all to finish the game. A significant amount of Teensies are out in the open in the main path to beat the level, and there are numerous levels where you are being chased or otherwise funneled into a specific path with either all or 8/10 (in applicable levels) of the Teensies just there for the taking if you can time a kick/spin.

I'm sorry to report that the Steam version of Deiland is somewhat buggy in its own right. This most recent session, I once ran into a bug where 2/3 NPCs on Ankora wouldn't give proper dialog, preventing me from buying, selling, and accepting/redeeming quests from them. There was also a rather more humorous glitch where Mun sank into Ankora's terrain. Regardless of the ...questionable all-around polish on this particular package, though, I'm still enjoying it - I just don't know if I'll manage to beat it before the end of the month.

Cody has beaten Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

It was alright. The main battles were fun, and I enjoyed the goofy Mario stuff. Rabbis are eh, but I don't hate them. The puzzles and between battle stuff were a drag.

I started on the DLC and am enjoying it too. The DK64 music is wonderful.

I'll also go ahead and nominate Splatoon 2 since I never finished the story on that, and they're bringing back another Splatfest next month.

Metal has beaten Deiland.

I think everyone who's seen my previous posts ITT has gotten a pretty good idea about what I think of Deiland by now. I don't have much to add to those previous posts - Deiland is seriously unpolished in so many ways, but the gameplay loop resulting from its promising premise sucked me in pretty quickly. I wouldn't call it a good game, necessarily, but I certainly liked it, and I'm glad GotM convinced me to give it a try.

I have not been good at updating my Rabbids progress. I am in World 3 now. I am overall doing pretty good in the standard fights. I'm probably getting perfect ratings at about an 80% rate, but man I am not doing so hot with those boss fights. I've never had a game over yet, but I have not gone through a boss fight unscathed. I always lose at least one person.

I don't really have a main group I always roll with, but it almost always has Mario in it.

Yea sorry I picked this but glad I'm done with it. Great looking sprite work and animation but literally no music but hums, bad design, boring bosses, and bland abilities that dont get started until 4ish hours in on a 6-7 hr game.

Wickle has beaten Rayman Legends

Definitely had my fun with it. There were some hard levels and the Eye of the Tiger level was one that actually pissed me off for a while, since pieces of it would break, which came from me having lag that day anyway. I said at the start the game was similar to a 2D Crash, but... ultimately easier. They both have the collection aspects and some timed levels, but... there's no lives like you'd normally have in a platformer. It allowed me to reset a part many times over just to make sure I got the Teensy involved in it.

well beat the world 3 midboss in rabbids, probably just quit for the month since I wouldn't make it at this point anyway. I don't really mind the puzzles like other people do, other than trying to push them in a hurry is annoying since it's kind of inaccurate/sloppy. what bugs me more is having stages with multiple battle segments since it makes me feel like I'm making less progress (I kind of feel like I have trouble maintaining interest in strategy rpgs the longer they go on, due to battle times going up while the amount of progress the story makes in cutscenes go down, compared to early on where you have quick snappy battles with only a few

I did some more rayman legends though, did the first three and part of the fourth origin worlds, got over 400 teenies and finished the first two stages in the music world.
