Almost never. I'd wait until I could stop or just use Bluetooth calling.
Not going to lie and say I never did it. Nope. Hell, my car automatically silences my phone notifications when I get in. Phone calls come through the dashboard.

I did do it with simple messages back in the days of flip phones. That was before there was a big no texting and driving movement and it was easier with physical buttons. With a touch screen keyboard, it would take way too much focus to text anything. My car can read texts I receive aloud to me and if I absolutely have to respond, I pull over.
