Personally, I hate not being able to shop and window shop in my city centre. I often would go in, just to browse and kill time, maybe buy some new books or whatever. The supermarkets are still open, but very little else. Makes things go slowly, and combined with (relatively) slow Amazon delivery times, getting new stuff is hard-going and inconvenient.

This. I got into a debate yesterday with some people on Facebook (dumb, I know) about how they were trying to organize a mass gathering to get people out of the house for awhile

Basically told them they were dumb and are exactly the reason why everything keeps getting pushed back week after week

Yeah food shopping has gotten annoying and so have the people who went stupid with the stockpiling.

Also amazon having slower delivery times is annoying too

I got like everything taken care of so really the government one is the only big point of concern. And it's not even state governments, I'll just put it that way.

I am really fortunate to be in the situation I am.

Being laid off with no pay. If unemployment and/or that stimulus check don't come through, I'll be broke within the month. My water might get turned off, I'll run out of food, my cable and internet might get turned off, I'll just be waiting to starve. I tried applying for jobs at grocery stores and other places still open, but no dice. I'll just have to keep trying.

My company did not allow work from home before this, the only reason being managment does not trust us. I usally work pretty autonomously but now I've been pretty tightly micromanaged. It doesn't help that everybody's work is slowed down so most of my job now is just trying to come up with stuff to look busy.

Being normal while everyone is all hysterical over nothing.

Not really any of the above for me. I work at a grocery store, so getting groceries is no problem. I very rarely went out to eat at restaurants, and getting take out is a very viable option.

I guess the one thing I miss is hanging out with my friends in person, which we could technically still do if were smart about it. And even then, we live in the age of cellphones and video chatting and such.

Things could be a lot worse.

I miss hiking and going to my favorite brewery. Also we had vacation plans in September that are now on hold. idk if I want to fly anywhere for a while even if lockdowns are lifted

Honestly it hasn't bothered me much. What has, is people's literal denial of a pandemic, trumps response and comments, and my own brother who said inmates at jails and prisons (convicted or not/violent or not) do not deserve proper care and protection from the virus. "they shouldn't have put themselves in that situation"

Definitely the shopping, and also having to wear a mask all the time.

My ears ache whenever I wear them, and the fact that I wear glasses makes it even more uncomfortable.
Plus it's difficult for me to see at times because they get fogged up.

Having to take the subway into Manhattan every day wondering if this is the day I run outta luck.

On my YouTube recommendations, the media is in a tizzy trying to make the case that the US has more coronavirus deaths than any other country. They've been doing this for days. Every chart or graph or report they publish, trying to make it sound like the US is the worst. It has become pretty creepy at this point. They almost seem like sports fans rooting for a particular team, only in the most perverse way possible.

Reason #5,791 why I do not give clicks to any corporate media. CNN, Fox News, NBC, none of them. They've done some pretty darn immoral things in the past few years. It does shake my faith in humanity a little that those who are supposed to be moral guardians of society are so utterly uncaring.

I chose working, but from home because I'm a teacher and I miss my students. I don't mind the working from home, per se, but I hate not seeing them, and I'm genuinely worried about some of them.

I can't really go on dates which sucks because I had plans to get laid a lot this year.

I also wish I could go to some fancy restaurants in the city like I usually do. I've been making my own food which has been okay but I like the experience of going somewhere classy and having great food.

Are you me? This describes what Im doing exactly.

And they act like working from home right now is a privilege, and upper management is actively looking for us to screw up so the can say See! We told you working from home is a bad idea! And make us go back the office.

I work in healthcare, I'm not locked down.

What is bothering me most is how much unspent energy everyone else has, especially my wife and kid. My pace is non stop all day. When i get home I'm exhausted and just want some time to wind down.
