Smite has seen rise in use in Aether Raids to test traps and on units that want to be solo to activate their skills. Mordecai is actually a good f2p option as his weapon and Smite combo to buff your unit and debuff opponents in range

got summer Xander for my free unit which i'm fine with. no white orb option so didn't even have a chance for Ursula

also got away with only having to spend 20 or so orbs before getting the pity 5* (Dead Hardin) from the Bridal banner. so lesson learned and i guess i'm just not pulling for a while lol

some of these choices for past summer banners are baffling

My free unit ended up being Summer Lilina. Not bad, +Atk too.

Got a dupe Cordy and got rid of the -Spd bane I already had. Green and colorless had too many duds, and red's selection was alright, but it didn't come up anyway

i just got a whole bunch of new stuff to do. finished Book 1, got Sacred Seals, Gardens, Refinery?! there are soooooo many items in this game though. looked through the inventory and still have no idea what like half this shit is for.

got my first merge unit though! Lucius +1 aww yea

ohmigosh i just found out what the red Divine Codes were for and i've been wasting all this time ahhhhhhhhhhh

Yeah, Divine Codes can be useful if you're looking for a merge or some fodder so try to collect as many as you can(Some of them involve harder content you may or may not be able to tackle at this time).

If you don't know what any paticular item is for, feel free to ask. It can get overwhelming at first.

the autobattle AI managed to lose lv. 25 Tempest Trials when i had a lv. 40 in there

speaking of auto battle AI, i just came back to a losing screen on the last stage of level 30 TT. the sole enemy left was Jacob. the absolutely useless low stats in everything Jacob. i'm kinda curious how that's even possible.

i mean, i can figure Lute was the last one on my team left. that's the only one a level 34 Jacob can even damage. but even then, with fury and the bonus stats i'm pretty sure he'd do less than 10 damage even to her. and I had renewal seal on her. and Lute is just so much less tanky than the other characters in my team, it's really weird she'd be the last one left in the first place.

Yeah auto battle AI is.... bad. Doesn't help with more busted units that basically exist to devour any AA team. Surtr was eventually soft banned for him basically being a "You Lose if Auto-Battle" unit. We could use some more bans...

And yeah, that's pretty odd for a level 30+ Jacob to accomplish anything. What were your units?(It's possible a squishy got hit with a -7 from the boss and Jacob just did 1 hp or something?)

My only guess is that Lute got attacked a bunch and was at 1 HP. The rest should be too tanky to care.

hmmm i'm kind of feeling stuck now that the constant feeling of progression has subsided. everything is just so much slower now since i'm not getting bombarded with free stuff.

i want to just 5* like at least 4 different units and build a team but that costs like a bajillion feathers for promotion costs & how even if i did have the fodder material, it's all limited to 5s.

nothing but the slooooow grind ahead now.

looking over the list of units though, almost all my fav characters are already in the game! the only one i'd want now is like Shamir...and base Tanith.

Yeah, once you burn through the story mode orbs you have to do a lot of waiting unfortunately.

As a F2Per, it's important to focus on what you want. Getting distracted by "Kinda nice" units means you have less orbs for your #1. Of course fodder is also something you eventually start looking for as well.

The summon itch will creep up every now and then. Or maybe I just have an addictive personality...

Game is much more beginner-friendly now than we all started. When we started, TT was twice the length and there were units that only provided a 20% bonus. I can't remember if the bonus units got bonus stats. I didn't even think of using auto-battle back then, and I remember my trump card for tackling Veronica was Ryoma and if Ryoma bit it, I was screwed. I missed out on a free 5* MM and orbs/feathers

Leveling Eirika up will be fun. You pretty much have to do it in the lower levels because fuck doing that on Infernal. Tana's PRF will be handy to help the armors move around

I don't missing having to level a unit to 40 to find out their Asset/Flaw if they weren't level 1.

Oh and TT was an awful grind all around.

Enemy units that respawned if you lost the map(They had less hp but that meant nothing if there was a healer, and Veronica had Renewal so...)

You were penalized more harshly for not clearing maps quickly. A lot of Awakening maps were... not designed for speed. Whatever it's the 4 flier maps that you have to wait 2-3 turns for them to reach you(That's assuming they keep going vertical), the map that basically meant 3-4 turns before combat if you had Horse Emblem(Since the quick route was blocked by a tree).

And the scoring was shit. Failing Lunatic 7 gave you more score than getting a perfect on Hard 5, and a lot of people just didn't have the heroes for Lunatic.

No bonus to score either, and you needed double the score to get everything. So 100k points to get all the orbs. 40k points I believe if you wanted Quickened Pulse.

I don't know how we could stand it all.

i'm guessing there's no way to buy resplendent heroes wiithout buying the pass first? i saw that you could buy past ones individually but only after you have the pass

pretty sure none of my favs are going to get a resplendent so phew

...autobattle got me stuck in a never ending map where only my healer with no weapon was left against another mage who does 0 damage to my healer

Unfortunately no, you have to have the Pass before you can buy any past Resplendent Heroes. For some reason.

51 Speed Bold Fighter because Nino can't read what her skills do. I don't really know what skills to give her yet. In total this cost 1408 Orbs which was really good. There's only around a 20% chance to get 11 copies in 1408 or less. But, it's the Orb cost per Nino that's really silly. It went 38, 13, 39, 28, 58, 171, 8, 161, 218, 18 then 656. So 752 Orbs to get the first 10 Nino and 656 to get the last one.

If I had a comfortable amount of orbs I would have went for a copy, but I didn't even have 200 when the double banner was up.

I did pull 2 Winter Sothis on the banner so I could use one to give Winter Nino Special Fighter. But I haven't really committed to doing that yet.

Congrats! Yea, SF is better in most cases, although 51 Spd will still miss doubles on OP Spd demons, so her A-skill helps with that. I would also replace her weapon if you can. How many orbs do you have left?

Congrats, you just need those dragonflowers now. Special Fighter sounds like the best option to me. Maybe Daring Fighter, but I think that is just Duo Marth.

I didn't have enough flowers for +5 and +4 is ugly so I decided to hold off on the flowers for now. Daring Fighter is another possibility but I don't have it.
