I'm not saying I'm super happy Biden beat Sanders (because I'm not) but you can't SERIOUSLY think Biden is going to lose to Trump. Trump has a comically low approval rating, he only technically beat Clinton, Biden is currently LEADING against Trump in the polls, and the Democrats mopped the floor with the GOP in the 2018 midterms. He didnt win the popular vote the last time and definitely wont win it against a more likeable candidate. Whatever edge he mightve had as the incumbent died with the economy, and his support effectively rests on a sizeable but insignificant minority of idiots who watch Fox News and think hes the second coming of Jesus Christ. Basically, 2018 elections show how committed Democrats are. People were somewhat energized at the idea of having a female president. There's nothing to energize the base to vote for Joe. If I go to the polls, I am not going to be like "YES, A vote to fix this shitty system!" ..... it's going to be "Yay, a vote to remove the tumor from the left side of the brain, while letting the right side's tumor stay." I dunno about you, but the DNC just isn't giving me enough to be excited for. If anything, they just make me see more and more that democracy in the United States isn't real. His VP will probably be doing most of the campaigning. You might see a number of different Biden surrogates more than Biden himself.
