This even got referenced a decade later in super mario rpg when samus and link stayed in the royal guest chambers. Would anyone else like to see the smash brothers lineup appear as heros in an rpg fighting a wirld ending threat. ScritchOwl 04/20/20 8:56:37 PM #6:	I wonder if they planned it long ago but the dumpster fire that was the snes disc drive caused to much resentment and they opted for the next largest universe at the time that wasnt problematic for audiences (dark fantasy like conan often have wierd multiverses like krull is a prequel to the conan series as the created the relics of power and red sonia is just a spin off and also somehow conan became animated) --- I rather go skinny dipping with a voltorb. <cite>ScritchOwl posted [p:937780140] in If nintend... While you could go the KH approach and create new characters to link the narrative, having Mario & Luigi discover an entrance to a "Pipe world" connecting the various game franchises would also work. From there, you could have them visit and place in replicas of the various game worlds where Bowser might team up with the game's villain to fight the Mario Bros and the game's hero... while incorporating some Mario elements. dfiggins_runner 04/21/20 4:15:19 PM #14:	I think this could be awesome if handled correctly. The interaction between characters that happened in subspace emissary was awesome but lacked depth.
