Getting kinda burned out on Animal Crossing and may start playing that more like an hour a day or so as intended so I can go ham on this. You can use a stylus with this game. You just need a capacitive stylus, and it will work with the Switch's touchscreen. And MM1's updates were nowhere near this grandiose all at once. Their updates added a few objects at a time - spikes, red coins, and bouncers was the entirety of the first major update for example. So uhh yeah no chance on that second part. MM1 was getting new content way more consistently though, if you count new mystery mushroom costumes every week as real content anyway. Now I wish they would just add the 100 Mario challenge back. Basically the same concept as a world but totally randomized levels. You can have up to 7 Koopalings in one level area, and you get to mix and match how many of each one you want to put into a level.
