Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she WILL vote for JOE BIDEN in November as the NY Democrat appeared on instagram live video with South Bronx born rapper, Fat Joe when he asked who she would vote for.

She said "In November, i'm going to be voting for Joe Biden, that's what i'm going to do"

While she long said she'd support the Democratic Nominee, the rapper set up the question so she had to say Biden's name when he said "There are 3 things you can do, you can vote for Trump, you can vote for Biden, or you can not vote at all. Who are you going to vote for?"

After she said Biden, Fat Joe said "I love that AOC, i love that. Is this the first time you said you voting for Biden?"

She said she wasn't sure but she said she's been saying this whole time she'll vote for the democratic nominee

She said it could be the second but she doesn't remember when she said she would vote for Biden but said "This is the time where i'm saying it declaratively like this, it hink. you asked a straight question i'm going to give a straight answer"

To that, Fat Joe said "Breaking News, my girl AOC will support Biden"

She said getting Trump out of the white house is her #1 goal and will fight to make that happen

Throughout the campaign, she was one of Bernie Sander's most potent surrogates and while trying to be courted by progressives from Warren and Sanders, she chose Sanders which gave a much needed jolt to his campaign but ultimately couldn't win the primary.

Sanders dropped out and made a surprise appearance at a Biden livestream event 10 days ago and endorsed the ex president live on the stream

Like she was going to do anything else? Trump is a clear and immediate danger to the nation. You have two choicse voting for him or against him. Not voting because you dislike Biden is the same as a vote for Trump.

This cannot be any more true.

As much as I dislike an establishment democrat such as Joe Biden, he is leaps and bounds better than the maniac in the WH now.

As grown ups we have to do a lot of things that we wish we didnt... eating enough fiber, going to work on time and every day, laundry, mopping, renewing registration on our vehicles, etc. But even though we might not want to do them we realize that its for a greater good and must go through with it.

With that said... Joe has got my vote. At least some level of normality will return to the WH. And you know what... if it doesnt, if its a left wing nutty version of trump, well... at least we can be entertained by watching the Trump supporters suddenly care about the mental well-being of a president. That will be delicious to watch.

I would have voted for any of the potential Democratic nominees over Trump, so yes, Biden has my support even if he wasn't even in my top 10 choices.

But I really hope he picks a VP that young voters and progressives like, because not every voter who's voting "not Trump" more so than "yay, Biden!" is so dead set to vote out Trump, and it'd be pretty fucking dumb to repeat Hillary's mistake in 2016 of doubling down even harder on the old/establishment/banking sector appeasing that she already had covered herself.

As a Bernie supporter, I will sadly vote for Biden, because Trump, is indeed a danger to us all.

Since I am not a US citizen, I never had to look to deeply into how everything works.

I do know Cortez is probably the US politician with the largest presence who is closest to my own political standpoint. I also assume she understands the parts of US politics I do not.

In theory, the president might be in a position to restrict Nestle's activities and thereby protect people from them, but in practice nobody on either side is going to do anything to hurt major corporations unless there's enough of a public outcry that it'll clearly score them political brownie points, so that's kind of a moot point.

I think a Biden+Bernie ticket would be a smart move for both candidates, if Bernie is dead set on beating Trump at all costs he should consider a VP ticket with Biden. Especially if Biden will work with him to accomplish a few of the things he wanted assuming he wins.
