2. That tweet was made after stay at home orders were already beginning to roll out. Even I was told to grab things from my office that would allow me to work from home for at least a month on March 13th and I work for the notoriously slow federal government
3. This is far from the first Elon prediction that has aged like milk. Dude founded Tesla and can't even get a correct ballpark estimate for when fully autonomous vehicles will hit the streets (a quick Google search will show that for every year, he just boldly claims it will happen the following year). It's pretty amazing that one person can be so shit at predicting things. Usually people with his track record would've learned by now to keep their traps shut but I guess that ego always gets in his way.

Well I don't exactly follow him like that lol but it was just his opinion. At least he thought patterned turned around. I still stand by what I said. But I do understand where yall are coming from now. But as someone who doesn't follow his twitter, or heard anything from elon musk really, it seemed like it was one tweet ysll were flipping out on.

US presidents I agree with. They are the leaders and should only be giving information as to how things are handling, not tossing out random shit during a press conference. As for elon, it was just his opinion. As wrong as it was, he is still just a celebrity and his words shouldn't influence anyone. Celebrities say a lot of thing but they are still just people. Well at least that's the way I see it, but I get what you mean. Some people are stupid and will cling on to this stuff like gospel.
