I just took all the furniture out of my storage and threw it around the island in an attempt to get a 5 star. I'm still at 4 stars and now I've got shit everywhere. Idk of I want to craft more or clean up. I just really want a gold watering can

I've spread all the island furniture apart like they're people in a grocery store during quarantine, but I'm still getting the clutter deduction. Is it because I have papers and stuff touching the ground?

do you have a bunch of dropped items? For some reason I remember hearing that when Isabelle mentions clutter its about dropped items not placed items

I don't think I left any sticks or fruit on the ground. Definitely no tools or drops

Also I just had two of the exact same bugs on two of the exact spots within seconds of each other. Manfaced stink bug on same flower and atlas moth on same tree. Go in to Nooks to sell first one come out and they're both right back on there. Wtf RNG

Missed Atlas both times cause I didn't expect it >_>

lily of the valley isnt guaranteed btw, being 5 star just gives it a chance to spawn

break them and they spawn somewhere else the next day (only 1 per day).

They need a 3x3 space to spawn so if you block off all the areas you dont want them to spawn you can force them where you want. But you basically have to either drop shit all over your island or make swiss cheese out of it by terraforming 1 block size water spaces everywhere. Also you can only have 3 per acre

Oh fuck that. All but one of mine are on the border anyway so I guess they'll stay there. On the note of landscaping are you actually able to level the second floor and turn everything flat or is terraforming not able to go that far

Just don't actually leave everything flat or you'll miss some fish spawns. Been thinking about yeeting all my 3rd level cliffs though, no benefit to those

Huh I'm assuming you're talking about needing pool with a waterfall going down for certain ones. Good to know

I'm using third-level cliffs to separate out my fruit trees and I'm going to put flowers on top of them and some DIYs to up my score but keep them out of the way.

Also I have a small river section (big enough to spawn fish) on top of a third-level cliff just in case.

Also it took me like an hour to find the last piece of Wisp. I honestly had no idea where it was the entire time because I passed the spot I finally found it in like 5 times.
