Canada's Justin Trudeau's popularity with the voters has SKYROCKETED because of his handling of the COVID-19 crisis and even has a small uptick in WESTERN CANADA where the Liberals were nearly wiped out in the last federal election.

His approval ratings have shot up above MAJORITY for the first time and the party stands at majority position if the election were held today with a projected 180 seats as the Conservatives have fallen to just 96 seats while weakening in vote rich Ontario and still not making a dent in French Canada where the Liberals and Bloc are fighting it out. The NDP would get 22 seats, Greens at 2 and Bloc at 34 seats.

He is also up among young voters with Liberal voters voted 89% approval of his handling, NDP voted 74% approval as female respondents responded favourably of Trudeau compared to males

The Liberals are most popular in Ontario, Atlantic Canada, Quebec and British Columbia

Trudeau's popularity in the last election took a huge dive from youth voters after his black and brownface photos disappeared years prior but the Liberals still clinged to power with the help of other parties to stay in power.

338Canada suggests Trudeau would win the majority if the election were held today.

In stark contrast where President Trump's popularity skyrocketed after the crisis happened with nearly 50% of voters approved of his handling before skydiving to 40's after his fumbling of the daily press conferences for COVID-19 and bizarre theories of supposed "cures" of the disease by injecting disinfectants. He has now cancelled his daily briefings

It's not even something exclusive to Justin Trudeau. Doug Ford, premier of Ontario and anti-Trudeau, has also seen a major uptick in his popularity.

Any kind of competent handling of a crisis should increase a politician's popularity. Trump is a bit of an anomaly in how he's bungling this.

Edit: also his handling of the CCP virus was abysmal. He kept letting in illegal immigrants without screening. He then put them all in buildings that were not made to live in and most if not all of them got the CCP virus. He didn't shut down international flights, even from China. No proper screening at the airports either. Even after they said they would and give out masks they took weeks after to even do that. Took forever to help out small businesses.. I believe just today small businesses can apply for assistance.. his social distanceing fines of $880 are ridiculous and only apply to normal Canadian's. A old man got a $880 fine for taking his dog outside for a pee when no one was around. No police have to follow this rule or immigrants.

Worst PM ever period. Anyone that thinks he's doing a good job is delusional and stupid.

What are we going to replace oil with then? Why not implement something at the same time as getting rid of oil? Nothing is in place and thousands of jobs are at risk or lost. Nice to say go green but without a solid plan in place then ya......

Rebel absolutely does not show truth or facts, they show one sided "reporters" that have already made up their opinion before any story is even written. It's not proof, it's conjecture, but because it aligns with your worldview you accept it.

If CBC was so pro Trudeau, why were they reporting on the SNC Lavalin affair for nearly a year straight? Wouldn't they try brushing that aside? What's a tough question to you?

News media contain inherent bias. Pretending that CBC is even a fraction as biased as Rebel is a joke. Rebel isn't even news.

Mostly because one day he was like "We will not close international travel", then the next day his wife or whoever gets sick, then the day after that he goes "Ok, gotta close international travel"

Maybe normal people can put aside his wacky ways and see that he was actually doing good for the American economy? I get it he's pretty messed up in ways, but his stance on China and efforts to bring back jobs to America are what really matters in the end. Most Americans care about their rights, freedoms and jobs. Leftists just seem to care about their own agendas and globalist views.

The unemployment rate was already low when he took office and had been trending downward for years. It's gone down what, like another 1.5% since he took office? How much of that was a result of his tax cuts for the rich and campaign speeches vs. simple inertia?
And what did it cost us? Insane trillion dollar a year deficits in a boom economy with record low interest rates (ie, the debt interest portion of the spending deficit is historically low compared to what it easily *could* be if we stopped fucking over savers) that will doom us for decades. Did you see how fucking crazy the Fed went w/ money printing when the virus started? It's because they already exhausted all their traditional "tools" trying to prop up the stock market bubble a bit higher, like idiots (at Trump's behest).
Trump's asked repeatedly for negative interest rates, 0% isn't low enough for him. If he wins in Nov. and has no more re-elections to fear, you can bet your ass we'll have negative interest rates!

And that's just economically. Never mind all his attacks on the environment, science, reinstating federal civil asset forfeiture, and every other issue he's fucking HORRIBLE on.

Update: so above where I mentioned that old man received a $880 fine for taking his dog out to pee.. well now the police showed up to his place and tossed out that $880 fine and said we have good news for you. Well that good news ended up being a new $1255 fine.. probably for talking to rebel media about it and fighting the ticket.. geez stand by that leftists.

If his wife didnt get sick, I dont think he would have taken this seriously until we were pass the point of no return,
