It was as awkward as it could be.

When I ordered online, a big message said "this location only does contactless pickup", so I was like, okay, and hit the order button. No other screen came up asking for car info, just the normal order complete screen.

I show up, and theres a shitload of cars waiting in spots. I'm like uh, I wonder how this works. So I just park. I feel like an idiot just sitting there so as one of the employees walks by I roll down my window and casually ask "so uh how all does this work anyway?"

And shes like, "did you order contactless pickup?"

And I'm like "uh, I guess so. Isnt that the only option?" And i just tell her my name for the order and shes goes in, and then comes out with my pizza.

And shes like, "next time just be sure to click the option for it and itll ask you more info, or else youd have to come in."

And I'm like "oh the website said this location only does contactless. I would gladly walk in if I could".

And then she looks confused and is like "oh I dunno everything's always changing."

So anyway I go to eat the pizza and I think I'm done with dominos. I used to be a big fan. This and the past several pan pizzas have been disgusting. I couldn't even eat to my fill before I got grossed out. Toppings used to go all the way to the edge, now theres always a huge track of crust present, and hardly ANY sauce. It was so dry and gross. And I'm a sauce guy.

I usually don't order pizza from chains, but if I did I doubt I would during this lockdown. Everyone is probably ordering from the major chains, I assume they are rushing each order and I doubt you are getting their best product.

And even the parts that looked like they had sauce actually had very little sauce, and too much cheese that was all stiff and gross. It was a fresh pizza too.

That's wrong according to the lady. You're supposed to click the contactless option, then you enter your car info, and they bring it out when they see you.

Yeah. All the pizza places near me are basically right next to a major hospital that's one of the worst hit spots in the city. =/

Yeah it's NYC there's a ton of cases at this hospital.

I have been living on rice, beans, and lentils. I would devour this horrible Dominoes pizza with great excitement.

Dominos has the worst pizza. Everything else is legit and worth getting, just stay away from the pizza.

ive ordered stuff from Dominos or Uber Eats during the pandemic a couple of times and ive been fine so far. lol

Yeah I've never had an issue with Dominos, and I always get a pepperoni pineapple pan pizza.
