If he is re-elected, any funds earmarked for transition activities are returned to the treasury Biden, who comes into the process with the advantage of having served VP has gotten started as well with his longtime aide, Ted Kaufman, who served in Biden's senate seat is heading the process as Biden told a fundraiser "You can't wait until you win, if you win, you've got to start now. You've got to be ready on Day One to be able to start naming people to head up these cabinet positions, sub-cabinet positions and those appointments that are in within the depts that are career positions and bring people back" Democrats however are not sure how Trump will react if he loses as some predict he'll BURN THE HOUSE DOWN while riling up his supporters on his way out.
