Tbh I've only played 4U solo. Shoot I meant 3. I always do that I keep thinking I have 4.

I feel cooler when I play World. So smooth-- people say it's "easier," but there are still many challenging aspects to it. I think the learning curve is more generous, which is why people say that. Just my two cents.

I've got 4U and didn't have any complaints . The game's fantastic both on 3DS and Switch . --- Prejudice is bad addiction . Open-mindedness is good remedy. ... Copied to Clipboard!

World, because it's the easiest game to play multiplayer, and there's new content still being added. Tbh, I found soloing the multiplayer quests in GU to be a slog.

They do get rather bothersomely long, especially toward late G3/G4. The whole offline/online tuning thing is one thing that I understand World does a lot better by only adjusting monster health based on the number of players in the game instead of arbitrarily bumping it up for "online" play. Still quite doable, and I don't recall having any issues with timing out except on some of the tougher Hypers (trying to solo Hyper Jho before I had decent G-rank gear was the only one I can think of, and even that was just playing too timidly because Hyper Jho is scary and subsequent attempts had me triple carting like a real man), but a bit of a slog at times nonetheless. --- This is my signature. Ive been a MH fan for a long time. I first got into the series with Monster Hunter Freedom on PSP.
Monster Hunter World is far and away more fun to play. Its more accessible. Theyve toned down a lot of the tedious grinding elements of the game that made older games in the series sometimes feel like a chore. And the action, environments, combat, and monsters themselves are so much more alive and vibrant. ... Copied to Clipboard!
