No one is trying to take anything away from you. All it is people advocating for inclusion and representation. As a straight white male myself I'm happy to be on that side and to experience new perspectives and ways of life whether it be from movies or games. Some people, especially on this website, are deeply afraid of progressive movements for no good reason. It's actually kind of hilarious to read people so phobic and terrified about the world becoming more socially progressive

Im all for it, but then there is a point where it starts jumping the shark

Like lets take transgenderism for instance. Ok I can accept that there are people who instinctively feel they were born in the wrong body and that there are genuine cases out there

Then once that was getting accepted there started to be people who claimed to be gender fluid because they switch genders frequently and how there are more than 2 genders. Or even worse, people who are more so fetishists claiming to be under the trans umbrella. All of which I feel are holding back the original issue at hand

Dont a lot of transgender people miss out on having treatment covered now because it was removed from the DMV or whatever that guideline book was. So becasue you have extreme SJW types, it ends up unintentionally hurting the more vulnerable ones.

Thats another thing. They tend to try to silence and yell over who ever doesnt agree with them instead having a proper discussion about the topic at hand so ppl can learn from it

But no actually progressive person would condone faking those things

yes they would, because the more 'less genuine or questionable' cases would accuse them of invalidating them and the progressive person wouldnt want to be accused of that so they tolerate it.

Look at Blair White. I feels she is a genuine case who often calls out the more questionable ones but she is labelled as an enemy to the progressive movement

They don't know how to handle their lack of individual control over the world they live in and, in their desperation, are willing to accept a scapegoat as the answer because they can avoid responsibility and self improvement.

I just wish they would understand no one is necessarily trying to take control away from them, it's more about fairness for everyone. I guess these are the kinds of people that find power and specialty from being the most represented kind of person, so it comes across as threatening to them

Been over this again and again and again, so not going to waste too much time.
Gender is a social construct. Throughout history and throughout the world gender and gender roles have been different depending on the society. With this in mind, it's easy to understand how people can identify as more than one of two genders.
Gender fluid people are just ones who are not fixed to one gender. Again, there are numerous examples throughout history, from ancient Rome to 70's crossdressers, of people who are not fixed to one gender.

And that you've had this conversation numerous times and still refuse to do some basic research or talk to people and still misrepresent these topics shows why people stop having "a proper discussion" with you. When you try to dehumanize them they are not inclined to treat you respectfully.

Are you talking to me? I've never had this conversation with anyone before and I'm on the side of progressive values

it varies. there are such things as sjws, but its a much tinier portion of the population than stupid fit-throwing internet people would like to believe. 4chan expanded the definition of the term to basically mean anyone who was even the most basic tepid liberal, so at this point its lost all meaning

I'm not even talking about that. I'm talking about a deep rooted issue within their personalities, divorced from actual political beliefs. Like, there's a difference between the suckers who complain about SJWs and the grifters who use those suckers. I'm talking about the suckers.
