Oh boy, this is going to be a great self help book. Possibly for entrepreneurs or folks looking to expand their wealth.

*googles the book*

Fantasy!?

Early Retirement Extreme is a very good self-help book. It's more about philosophy and designing a low cost life than it is about wealth building. He's a physicist, I'm a physicist, so I'm probably drawn to some aspects of Jacob's personality.

A Simple Path to Wealth is a good book on wealth building. Good writing style but not a lot of content, let me save you 200 pages: Buy VTSAX and VBTLX in a 85/15 split and you're basically set. I love JL Collins. He has this guided meditation video on youtube for when the stock market is dropping, it's hilarious.

The Millionaire Next Door is a good book on learning habits of millionaires...but the book is kinda dull and basically hammers you in on frugality, but has some cool stats mixed in. IIRC there's an updated version.

Your Money or Your Life is similiar, Vicki Robins or Robinsons or whatever inspired a lot people to get into financial independence. Kinda dull.

I liked White Coat Investor. It's good for a quick handle on some things, but wouldn't recommend if you're under six figs.

Highly reccommend listening to the Mad Fientist podcast. I'd do every episode beginning to end. It's a bunch of interviews of what people are doing in their life with FI and their path to being FI.

Mr Money Mustache is okay if you like blogs. His sense of humor I think a few PotDers would enjoy. Fiery Millienials is a podcast gaining popularity if you want to see what a lot of different people are doing, but I'm not actually recommend it. Bigger Pockets is alright if you want to learn about real estate.

Hmmm, I read 7 Habits of Highly Effective People when I was in like 2nd grade and have good memories of it...but haven't revisited since 7th Grade. How to Win Friend and Influence People is good, been about a decade since I've read it. Be Our Guest is great, about Disney's customer service. Highly recommend Elements of Style, I reread it every other year. Art of War was okay, it's just kinda cool. Lincoln On Leadership I have positive memories of but I was also around 2nd or 3rd grade.

Reddit's r/personalfinance gets you on track. Reddit's leanFI is too much like r/frugal. r/financialindepdence is becoming too spammy but it's good for some basics. I kinda like r/fatFIRE but these people mostly got their money through entrepreneurship and windfalls and can't imagine living anywhere but NYC/SF and spending under 20k on a vacation.

The 4 Hour Work Week and everything Tim Ferris I found to be obnoxious. Dave Ramsey is obnoxious. Physician on FIRE is kinda a jerk. The Bigger Pockets has a money section but I don't jive well with their personalities...reminds me kind of a soccer mom and a bit condescending. Minimalists have about one podcast worth of content spread out of 200+ episodes. I find the ChooseFi people to be a bit condescending and it feels kinda sterile...no real need for lists of grocery shopping tips.

Fantasy!?

Don't most self-help books deal in fantasy, though? >_> This one just happens to have knights and I assume magic.

none good.

Not sure what you mean, but its an easy to read fantasy book. There will be ten books in the series in two sets of five, but it stands alone decently well enough but still lets you know theres more story to come.
