All of the above. Potatoes are magnificently versatile. The meals I've got planned for the next two weeks include roasting some potatoes to go with a sausage dish as well as mashing some to use for shepherd's pie (technically cottage pie, because beef, but we'll ignore that). I may also turn some into hash browns for breakfasts, but we'll see if I ever feel like doing that much work in the morning.

I made some incredible potatoes last Thanksgiving. I filled with roasting pan with potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic, coated the turkey with melted ghee (clarified butter) then put it in a rack and sat it above the veggies. As the turkey roasted, the juices dripped down into the pan and soaked into the vegetables. The turkey came out great, but I think the veggies were even better.

I made baked potatoes this morning. I like to leave them in the oven for an extra long time so the skin gets nice and crispy.

Every time my friends and I went camping back in the day, that quote would get dragged out every single time someone suggested wrapping some potatoes in tinfoil and throwing them in the fire.

We also always did the Elevensies routine around 11pm, which was when we'd all be drunk and kind of getting hungry again a few hours after dinner.

Don't care for cheese , only eat it in limited food variety.

I've had potatoes in all the styles but prefer scalloped potatoes since I'm not that fond of fried or baked potatoes. Boiled potatoes remind me too much of my parents who always had them for dinner.

I made extra baked potatoes this morning. I always do since I have to run the oven for an hour whether I'm making 1 potato or 12. So the next day I take some of the leftover potatoes, slice them up and fry them in ghee or butter. Then I fry up some eggs and sliced up bacon and serve them on top of the potatoes along with a bit of grated cheese.
