Costco pays people a livable wage thats why they are awesome

Yeah, I hear it's a great place to work in all of retail because they treat their employees like family.

Everybody else in the retail treats their employees like slaves complete with slave labor wages.

Yep pretty much the most coveted retail job you can get. Very hard to get a job there as well, pretty much have to know someone or your screwed.

Another 350ish Sunday. Time and a half not double though, but still almost 3.5k to work 51 hours.

5 years here and this is the first and only time it's happened to me. All thanks to the coronavirus

An expensive one. This one check will cover my rent, food, insurance, phone, bills etc for the month in full though.

i would think if there's an average amount of cases and everyone has to wear a mask. the chances would be awfully low if he stood at the checkstand the whole time.

it's hilarious when other people think they can enter costco without a mask.
they'll get turned away.

edit: though times might be slightly longer. have to wait to be approved to go inside which isn't all bad.

No. I'm working 51-52 hours this week. The 43 is just the time that was double time and then an extra 8 is time and a half.

Are there still crowds of people at Costco? I've been meaning to go this week to refill on essentials like water and food, but havent gone since end of February. Havent gone back since I saw the news about hoardes of people there.

hoardes of people i haven't seen. they're limiting the number inside the warehouse at times. do gotta keep distance from others whenever possible. need a face mask of some sort as well :(.

just in case haven't listened to the news as of late.
also to note: going in during the earliest morning or super late at night will see less crowds.

I got a second job at fedex freight due to me getting like 32 hours at Costco for months. Then the virus hit and its been 45-50+ every week since March. But can't quit since once the pandemic ends we'll go back down.
