Current Events > Does FF7 remake feel like a full, complete game?

I heard they were gonna come out with multiple parts of FF7 remake and that made me think FF7 remake was incomplete in terms of story but just need to know the opinions of those who played the game and what will they do with the rest of the game. And does the remake feel like the PS1 and 2 Final Fantasies in terms of replay value? I got 1,000 hours with each of those games

I beat it in like 40 hours. Sure as hell felt complete to me

It's complete in that it felt like the first part in a multi-part game, with sequel-bait draped all over the ending.

It felt full to me. Had more fun playing it than any FF since 10. Took about 35 hours IIRC, I did a bunch of side stuff though so probably closer to 30 hours just counting the story.

Only because of the dialogue and cutscenes. Actual game is less then 10 hours, if that. But the original was the same except the time wasted was with random battles and traveling the overworld so it balances out I guess.

Its one of the best games i have ever played. If you liked FF7, buy immediately.

You can't complete it until you play through a second time. Secret bosses and such are locked behind hard mode, which isn't available until you beat the game first.

I beat chapters 1 on hard mode while skipping cutscenes and that shit took like 25 minutes or so. Cut out the side quests and skip all the cutscenes and you do indeed have a game that's under 10 hours.

My final time for my first run was like 33 hours without skipping anything and doing all the side quests and coliseum matches I could. The game is a joy to expedience, but it's padded as fuck.

Literally every JRPG is short by those metrics. Of course the game is even shorter if you're going through it on hard mode. You have a shitload of abilities

Its complete but if you played the original, a lot of it feels like filler. That said, its a great game and worth playing for sure.
