Nothing gave them the right to chase after a man they had no actual evidence for having done anything, just because he was black and then murdering him. Even if he HAD been committing a crime, they did not know this and hunted him down (while armed with guns) to confront him due to being black and then murdered him for it. Came across an open construction house, decided to take a quick peek in (just curious/something you might not see every day) and then be on his way. It wasn't even fenced up and there weren't any "no trespassing" signs, I doubt there were any tools left there or anything to steal. He didn't damage the property and didn't have time to.
